RAWALPINDI: Changing operational priorities after 11 years, the Pakistan Army has termed internal threats as the greatest danger to the country's security, Geo News reported Wednesday.
The paradigm shift in Pakistan military's operational priorities has come to the fore in a 'Green Book' containing the ideology of Pak Army.
According to sources, a decision has been made to extend the reach of Pak Army's latest Green Book to the people as well as the diplomats.
The book declares the internal threats as a greater risk for the country's integrity compared to the danger present at its eastern borders.
The situation at western borders, gorilla activities and blasts have been termed dangerous for the country's security.
Sources further said that a new chapter on 'Conventional Warfare' has also been incorporated in the Green Book.
